Section 01
Why Red Oak Foundations Move
Red Oak sits on the expansive Woodbine and Eagle Ford clay belt. When Texas heat dries the soil, clay shrinks and your foundation drops. When heavy North Texas rain saturates it, the same clay swells and lifts. That constant shrink-swell cycle is what causes sticking doors, drywall cracks, tilted floors, and gaps around windows across DFW homes.
